The ranch has an incredible view of the Caribbean Ocean and perfect for tourism as a secondary income. Today 2023 it has a capacity of sleeping 13; divided in 2 private rooms with a bath room, 1 house with own shower and 2 tents. A construction license will allow up to 60 Bungalows from 35 (376 sqft) to 90 sqm (968 sqft), restaurant, bar, a reception area, walking trails and viewpoints.

The 47.12 Ha. consists of 27 Ha. (66 acres) of cultivated coffee, 3 Ha. (7.4 acres) of fields apt for coffee growing, 2 Ha. (4.9 acres) of open fields, 14.5 Ha. (35.8 acres) of virgin forests and 0.5 Ha. (1.2 acres) built area.

It is a professionally run coffee farm approved by FEDECAFE (The Coffee Federation of Colombia). The farm is subject to yearly technification (periodic soil studies, application of fertilizers with optimal mix of nutrients and a high level of maintenance).

It counts on INVIMA registration making it possible to sell its roasted coffee in designed and branded coffee bags in the Colombian domestic market. The ranch is also well on its way to achieve its own Export license.

The past 3 years (2019-2022) it has been producing a steady average of 17,000 of EXCELSO coffee (export ready green coffee beans) per year. The ranch is in the process of renewing cultivation areas; cutting down old plants and sowing new lots, expanding to 30 Ha of cultivated coffee within 2024 assuring young crops and an average annual production of approx. 29 tons of EXCELSO coffee per year from February 2026.

The coffee farm wash processes the coffee beans, dry the parchment coffee in its coffee drier and store the CPS in own storage rooms in specialty coffee bags to assure prolonged high quality. Sierra Nevada of Santa Marta is renowned for its specialty coffees. Coffee from this region is the most valued, in USD per kilo, in Colombia.

The coffee plants are of the Castillo variety within the Arabiga family. Good sized coffee beans with few flaws, averaging factor 86, and known for a balanced cup with notes of Chocolate and Almonds

The ranch is accessible by car (4×4) and located in the Sierra Nevada of Santa Marta, the world’s highest coastal mountain range, 1 hour north of Minca, a small ecological town 30 minutes outside Santa Marta, Colombia, at 1,200 meters above sea level with a full view of the Caribbean sea.
